Lions ROAR

This is the ninth year that Lions Clubs International are running ROAR.

an innovative competition delivered by 8billionideas.

​

This unique Lions programme aims to inspire children and young people

to think big and dream bigger about the world that they live and

explore ideas that can change the world for the better.

​

 It benefits primary schools by enhancing life-skills that meet all of the personal,

social, and health education curriculum requirements.

It allows them to work in teams and use their imaginations.

​

"The ROAR project allowed our children to be creative, inventive and inspired by the opportunity to work as a group in designing a product, create and advert and jingle as well as a poster for their chosen product.  The children are still talking about this year's event!  We are looking forward to being part of ROAR again next year" ( Bridgetown Primary School 2022)

 

Bridgetown School took part in 2023 along with Alveston C of E Primary School

and Shottery St Andrews C of E Primary School.  

 

Last year, 2024 we are delighted to once again be able to sponsor
